Early career development initiatives

• Hire apprentices from our college across various sectors, including beauty, chemistry, biology, construction, maths, law and more.
• Provide students real-world experience with tried and tested successful work placements and internships like the Creative Skills Academy LPN programmes.
• The interview stage can be daunting, but even more so when you’re just starting out in your career. You can run CV, interview and job preparation sessions to help students enter the workforce.
• Share industry insights with workshops, panel discussions and events such as Women in Tech, Music Sync and Supervision and Live TV with ITV professionals.
• Offer 1-1 discussions, group mentoring or career coaching sessions for aspiring professionals.
• Challenge students with industry-related tasks, competitions and live projects such as the interactive green careers event.
• Be our guest and deliver exciting lectures and industry talks about your sector – send representatives to give talks on STEM, career pathways, the world of work, as well as trends and innovations in your field of expertise.
• ‘A day in the life’ – shadowing allows students to observe professionals in their area of interest and learn what it’s really like, first-hand.
• Open your doors with company open days – invite students to visit your site for behind-the-scenes experiences.

Sponsorship and donations

• Sponsor student awards and events – recognise student achievements and build your brand presence.
• Donate equipment – laptops, tablets, tools, art supplies, musical instruments, lab equipment, etc.
• Support extracurricular activities – sponsor our teams’ gym equipment, donate extra funds for sports gear (basketball nets, football goals), and outdoor play resources.
• Classroom and centre upgrades – We always need desks, whiteboards, and specialist lab equipment.
• Student sponsorships – Help fund uniforms, breakfast clubs or hardship grants for disadvantaged students.
• Diversity and inclusion grants – Share funds for underrepresented groups in industries like tech, engineering, and finance.

Wellbeing and community support

• Student wellbeing solutions –sponsor or provide mental health and wellness programmes.
• Community engagement projects – support outreach initiatives benefiting London residents.

Digital and technology innovation

• Host a hackathon or innovation challenges – your organisation could run digital competitions or sponsor coding challenges.
• AI and emerging tech workshops – Support students with skills in AI, blockchain, VR/AR, etc.

Use our facilities for social impact

• Hire our facilities (such as studio and equipment hire) – theatres, classrooms, boardrooms, event spaces, and kitchens available for community projects or staff training.
• Run community training and workshops – organise free or subsidised sessions for London residents, such as:
  • Financial literacy classes
  • Healthy eating and cooking workshops
  • Basic English and Maths sessions
  • Career taster days
