Adult Learners

If you’re aged 19 or over, and if you are looking to get a job, advance in your career, go to university or start something new, we can help. For our Adult Students we have a large variety of courses that can help you achieve your goals – including Access to Higher Education diplomas, practical work-based courses (from Entry Level to Level 3), A Level Intensives, Higher Education (Level 4 and above) and apprenticeships.

Studying at college might seem daunting if you’ve been out of a classroom or workshop for a while, we will do our best to support you through your course, whatever your situation. We offer a flexible approach to learning, and Learner Experience team are on-hand to provide help so that you can complete your qualification – from childcare to funding and financial support.

We also know that the cost of studying can be a worry for adult students, so we offer all of our Entry Level to Level 2 courses for FREE, regardless of your age or income.

If you’re not quite sure what you’d like to study, or want to retrain for a new career in a post-COVID world, we also run a large range of free, part-time short courses, including courses at Level 3 and Level 4.

All of our centres have classrooms and workshops with industry-recommended equipment, as well as well-stocked libraries, social spaces and cafes, creating a vibrant, sociable place to study alongside students of all ages and backgrounds.

Why not come to an open day and check out our facilities for yourself, or if you already know what you’d like to study, find out more about how to apply
