Applying and Enrolling – what’s the difference?
Before you start a course at college, there are two important steps: applying and enrolling.
Applying means you’re telling us you want a place on a course. Applications for courses starting in September 2025 are still open.
Enrolling means you’ve got your place and are signing up to become a student with us. From 9am on 21 August, you can enrol on a course with us even if you have not applied before, as long as there are places on the course available. Click on the button below to find out more about where you need to go for enrolment, and what documents you need to bring with you.
Applications for courses starting in September 2025 are open.
Browse through our wide range of courses from A Levels and T Levels to vocational-technical courses. There’s something for everyone! Find out more about each of our fantastic campuses and student life with us. But don’t just take our word for it, hear from our current students and alumni!
Open days are a great opportunity to find out more about college life, meet the teachers, ask questions, and see our facilities. Find out what to expect from an open day and how to prepare here.
Some courses may require you to attend an interview. The interview is not a test with a pass or fail outcome; it’s an opportunity for us to have a friendly chat about the course you have applied to.

The process of applying to our college is as follows:
Sometimes your offer will be subject to evidence of your exam results and any other relevant entry criteria.
Once you have received an offer and accepted it, we will invite you to enrol with us. Enrolment will happen in July and August, and we will contact you with a date and time.
If you’re looking to apply for courses at more than one of our campuses, you can use the same login details – simply come back to the course search and click ‘Read More’ on a different course. Our applicant portal works across all of our campuses.
Some courses may require you to come in for either an interview, or an Assistant Principal or Head of School talk. Find out more about the interview process here.
Once you have applied, we will get back to you with further information and an interview or talk date. If you cannot attend, please call us as soon as possible. You will then be offered a place at the college, subject to evidence of your exam results or any other criteria.
Once you have received an offer and accepted it, we will invite you in for enrolment. For courses starting in September 2025, enrolment information will be sent out during July and August 2025.
We have a variety of courses: A Levels, T Levels, vocational courses, short courses, and higher education courses.
We accept applications all year round – but the sooner you get your application in, the sooner we can send you an offer. If you apply during the summer before your course starts, we will invite you to enrolment.
If you are applying for a higher education course such as an HNC, HND, Foundation Degree or Bachelor of Arts/Science (BA/BSc), you can apply via UCAS or directly to the college.
If you are applying for more than one higher education course, or more than one provider (such as multiple universities), you should apply online through UCAS using the button on the course page. The cost to apply through UCAS for 2025 entry is £22.50 for a single choice or £27.50 for up to 5 university choices. Please note that these fees are subject to an annual increase.
If you received free school meals in secondary school, you might be eligible to apply for free. Please visit the UCAS website for further information.
If you are applying for just one higher education course, or are looking to study part-time, please use our online application system to apply – simply follow the steps in ‘How to apply’.

If you have existing qualifications from a country outside the UK and you are not sure which course or level is right for you, please contact our international office. We can check your certificates and recommend the most appropriate level and qualification for you.
If you require a Student Route Visa (previously known as Tier 4 General Student Visa) or Short Term Study Visa in order to study with us, we will assess your suitability to apply for a visa during the application process. As part of this assessment, we may ask for further information about your immigration history and will carry out an interview with you. If you are overseas at the time of application, this interview will take place online.
