Our Sixth Form College in Angel, London, is rated ‘Good’ by Ofsted and equips young students with the skills to thrive at university. We offer over 30 A Levels, from traditional subjects, such as English, Maths, History and Chemistry, to less common subjects such as Psychology, Law, Environmental Science, and Criminology. Many of our Sixth Form students go on to study at Russell Group universities.

Entry requirements

The general minimum entry requirements to study A Levels at our Sixth Form College are below, however, each subject at each college has its additional requirements:

  • Five GCSEs at grade 4 or above, which must include English Language and Maths
  • English Language GCSE needs to be at grade 5, as well as in at least two other subjects
  • Most written subjects require a grade 5 in English Language, and a grade 6 in a second literary subject (e.g. English Literature, History, Business Studies, Sociology, Geography)
  • BTEC Level 2 qualifications are not accepted in place of GCSEs
  • To do four A Levels, you will need a minimum of seven GCSEs at grade 7 or above, including a minimum of two GCSEs at grade 8 or above
  • Sixth Form College does not accept A Level restarts or retakes

We offer a range of services, from helping you identify your strengths, interests, and goals, to helping craft a compelling CV and cover letter that effectively showcases your skills and experiences. As well as interview preparation, where you can receive tips on how to answer common interview questions, develop your personal brand, and present yourself confidently.

We work with a variety of employers across London who provide placements to allow you to gain an understanding of what it is like to work within that field and develop practical skills which are hard to gain in the classroom.
