Apprenticeship vacancies are ideal for people starting out in their careers who want to get a qualification at the same time as earning a wage, and for people who already have work experience but want to either upskill or change careers.

During the apprenticeship, you will gain valuable real-life workplace experience, plus additional training in soft skills relevant to your job and more industry-specific skills. You will also get paid time off for additional training or study as part of your apprenticeship

Do I need any qualifications to apply?

Depending on the level, you may need some previous qualifications, or to have studied a previous apprenticeship (e.g. progressing from a Level 2 to a Level 3). Some employers may also ask for GCSEs (A-C) in English, Maths and Science.

What will I get paid?

The apprenticeship vacancy will list the salary, however all apprentices must receive at least the legal apprenticeship minimum wage. Many employers choose to pay more.
