What is an apprenticeship job vacancy?

An apprenticeship is a paid job where you learn and gain valuable experience. Apprenticeship vacancies are ideal for people starting out in their careers who want to get a qualification at the same time as earning a wage, and for people who already have work experience but want to either upskill or change careers.

During the apprenticeship, you will gain valuable real-life workplace experience, plus additional training in soft skills relevant to your job and more industry-specific skills. You will also get paid time off for additional training or study as part of your apprenticeship.

On top of a salary, apprentices receive holiday pay and other employee rights and benefits.
