Westminster Kingsway College (WestKing) welcomed Mark Martin MBE to the Kings Cross Centre to deliver an inspiring talk to students as part of Global Entrepreneurship Week. The event, which took place on 16 November, was organised in collaboration with Central District Alliance (CDA).

In addition to contributing to edtech and Computer Science education, he is also an advisor to the government, big tech companies, institutions, and charities. As co-founder of UKBlackTech, Mark champions home-grown talent, digital skills, and education equity. In recognition of his contributions, he was awarded an MBE for services to education, technology and diversity in UK technology in 2019.
During his lunchtime talk, Mark spoke to around 180 students and shared valuable insights into how to prepare for the future. He encouraged students to connect with like-minded individuals, stand out by delivering beyond expectations and stay focused on their individual goals. Students at WestKing took the opportunity to ask him questions and chat with him after his motivating and informative talk.
