Laser and Intense Pulsed Laser (IPL) Treatments - Level 4 Certificate

This Level 4 Certificate in Laser and Intense Pulsed Light (IPL) Treatments is an advanced qualification specifically designed for beauty therapists who wish to add laser and IPL treatments to their treatment offerings and progress to employment as a Level 4 Laser Therapist.

Topics can include:

• Providing a thorough consultation with the client to formulate a specific course of treatment
• Tailoring treatments to suit individual client needs
• Using laser and light treatments for skin rejuvenation and hair removal
• Manage the health, safety and security of the salon

You will need:

• A Level 3 qualification in a relevant discipline
• You will have the required knowledge, understanding and skills to enrol and successfully achieve this qualification

Adults - Level 4

This course may be free or reduced-cost for you if you meet certain conditions:

• If you are not working or have a low income. You need to show proof of your income or benefits.
• Residency rules apply. You need to show you have permission to live, work and study in the UK without conditions.
• There are some exceptions, such as certain visa types.

If you do not meet the residency rules, you can still enrol on the course but you may have to pay some fees. All applicants are fee-assessed during enrolment.

If you are not eligible for a free or reduced-cost course, you need to pay the full fee yourself, or apply for an Advanced Learner Loan.

Some courses have additional costs, such as for specialist materials and trips.
