Capital City College students explore pathways at Higher Education Fair

Over 200 students explore Higher Education pathways at an event featuring 18 universities at Capital City College’s Tottenham Centre.

Over 200 students from across Capital City College (CCC) attended a Higher Education Fair  at the college’s Tottenham centre.

The Higher Education Fair, which took place on 16 October, provided an opportunity for learners to find out more about their options for Higher Education and speak to university representatives and student ambassadors from 18 different universities.

The event welcomed students from a range of vocational courses and diplomas such as Access to Nursing, Access to Computing, Engineering, Health and Social Care, Applied Science, Creative Media, Accounting, and Construction courses.

The event was organised by Francesca Cinotti, Ahmed Mohamed, and Vicky Johnson from the college Careers Team with the aim of giving both learners and college staff the opportunity to find out more about Higher Education institutions.

During the event, students and staff members were able to speak to university representatives about specific courses, open days and events as well as asking any other questions they had about studying at university.

The event featured an impressive range of universities from London and further afield and included Queen Mary University of London, a prestigious Russell Group university.
