The Multicultural Apprenticeship Awards celebrates those from within multicultural communities who achieve their goals through apprenticeships. The awards also recognise the role played by employers and training providers such as CCC in supporting apprentices as they complete their studies.
Our Apprenticeships+ team delivers over 45 apprenticeships from Level 2 to Level 6 across Business, Technology, Construction, Engineering, Healthcare, Hospitality and Culinary Arts sectors and has over 1000 apprentices currently enrolled in training. CCC also proudly hosts the largest ESOL ((English for Speakers of Other Languages) provision in England, supporting students from a range of backgrounds, many of whom successfully progress onto apprenticeship programmes with the college.
The student body at CCC is incredibly diverse, with over 100 nationalities represented among the college community. Over half of CCC apprentices come from multicultural backgrounds, and the diversity of our colleagues remains a key strength in supporting students, as they bring varied perspectives, lived experiences, and cultural awareness into their interactions with students and apprentices.
The college currently collaborates with over 600 employers, ranging from large organisations such as the NHS, London boroughs, CBRE, Mitie and Savills, to a wide array of local small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). Across the college’s varied campuses, industry-standard equipment and facilities ensure apprentices receive impactful, real-world experiences that support them in the workplace. The delivery of apprenticeships at the college remains innovative and flexible, and is not constrained by geographical boundaries.
As a result, students from across the country join courses and work remotely to fulfil their apprenticeship ambitions. Margaret Gotlib, Assistant Principal at CCC, said: “I am incredibly proud of what the Apprenticeships team has achieved this year. Our focus has been on continually improving the quality of our provision, strengthening employer partnerships and ensuring our apprentices achieve the very best outcomes. As a result, we have retained our position as London’s largest further education apprenticeship provider and achieved the highest apprenticeship achievement rates of any college in the capital. Being recognised on a national stage is a wonderful endorsement of the team’s hard work and commitment.”
Our Apprenticeships+ team was also previously shortlisted for the 2026 Apprenticeship and Training Awards in the Outstanding Apprenticeship Programme category.
The winners of this year’s Multicultural Apprenticeship Awards 2026 will be announced at a special event on 6 November 2026 in Birmingham.
