Out of hundreds of recognised apprenticeships providers across the UK, the apprenticeships+ team at Capital City College (CCC) has made the finals at this year’s Apprenticeship and Training Awards.
These prestigious awards recognise organisations who are shaping a highly skilled, inclusive, and future-ready workforce through their commitment to apprenticeships and wider training and development.
Originally launched in 2017 as the AAC Apprenticeship Awards by FE Week and AELP, the Awards have grown in scale and impact, receiving over 700 nominations in 2025. Relaunched as the Apprenticeship and Training Awards, this evolution reflects the wider focus of today’s workforce needs and the increasing importance of lifelong learning and skills development.
Shortlisted for the Outstanding Apprenticeship Programme award category, this award recognises the most impactful and innovative apprenticeship programme an employer provider or training provider delivers.
Jerome Lecerf, Group Head of School for Apprenticeships at Capital City College, said:
“Reaching the finals for the Outstanding Apprenticeship Programme award is an incredible achievement and a reflection of the passion and commitment our team brings to every learner’s journey.
“Their dedication ensures apprentices receive not only exceptional training but also the guidance and confidence to succeed in their chosen careers. This recognition reflects the transformative impact our programme has on shaping skilled, confident professionals who are ready for the future. I couldn’t be prouder of the team and the difference they make every day.”
As national finalists, the team are invited to attend a celebratory reception at the House of Lords on Monday 9 February 2026, hosted by The Rt Hon. Baroness Morgan.
Good luck to our team, and congratulations on making the finals!
