CANDI’s Performing Arts and Music Students Take to the Stage in a Series of Performances

Performing Arts and Music students showcase their skills in a series of performances to students, parents and teachers.

Students at City and Islington College (CANDI) have been preparing and performing a series of shows, ranging from a modern take on Shakespeare’s comedy A Midsummer Night’s Dream to Tom Wells’ coming-of-age drama Broken Biscuits.

CANDI students from Performing Arts and Music courses have been involved at every stage of preparing these shows, from reworking classical texts to participating in technical rehearsals. Students have already performed their own version of A Midsummer Night’s Dream, Morning by Simon Stephens, and Old Times by Harold Pinter.
