Visionnaires is a social enterprise within Capital City College, created to help people turn their ideas into successful businesses, side hustles, or self-employment opportunities.
Visionnaires is committed to inclusivity and accessibility — because entrepreneurship should have no barriers. Everyone deserves the opportunity to learn the essentials of starting a business, build confidence, and connect with a supportive community.
What we offer
We provide the confidence, skills, and practical tools to turn your business idea into a reality. In just five days, your idea can become a practical business plan.
Our programmes include:
- Gateway to Independent and Remote Working – Level 1 Certificate: A practical, portfolio-based, real-world course that helps you build evidence of your skills each day. Designed for beginners, it offers a step-by-step guide to freelancing and provides a direct pathway to our Start Your Own Business programme.
- Start Your Own Business: A five-day course covering the essential aspects of entrepreneurship — from developing your business plan to marketing, sales, financial management, and pitching your idea.
- On Your Marks: Designed for those who have already launched their business and are ready to take it to the next level.
- Specialist courses: Tailored for creative professionals, therapists and counsellors, and hair and beauty specialists.
These are funded courses and may be completely free if you meet the eligibility criteria.
