Summer School

Our Summer School for International Students will allow you to explore London whilst expanding your English Language skills and building your confidence.

Our Summer School take place at our Kings Cross Centre, situated in the heart of London. The centre has good transport links and is a short walk from Great Portland Street, Euston Square, Regent’s Park and Warren Street underground stations so that all of central London is easily accessible.

Our Summer School provides a great opportunity for you to meet people from around the world whilst getting to know this renowned city by taking part in our scheduled cultural visits and exploring in your own time. 

We accept applications from those aged 18 or above. You will receive a certificate of attendance and participation once you have successfully completed the programme.

We work closely with a number of recognised accommodation providers in London and can provide advice and help with booking accommodation and airport transfers.

If you do not normally need a visa to visit the UK (non-visa nationals), you should be able to study for up to 6 months without applying for a visa in advance. You can check if you need a visa to study by visiting Gov.uk check UK Visa page and filling in your details. We are unable to issue s Student Visa for our Summer School. For further information, please email international@capitalccg.ac.uk.

Our Summer School offers English Language classes for 18 hours per week (3 hours each morning, Monday – Friday), and you can study with us for up to 4 weeks. Optional social and leisure activities are arranged as part of the Summer School on Thursday afternoons (3 hours per week).

Trips could include:

  • The British Library
  • The Museum of London
  • Tate Modern
  • Somerset House
  • The British Museum
  • Shakespeare’s Globe Theatre

Summer School 2025 Details

  • Dates: Monday 14 July 2025 – Friday 22 August 2025
  • Duration: 18 hours per week for 4 weeks
  • Level: Entry 2 – Level 1 (CEFR B1 – B2)
  • Entry Requirements: You will need to be aged 18 or older.
  • Course Fee: £190 per week for International Students – There may be other costs associated, such as materials and trips. A London Travelcard may be required to participate in cultural and industry visits (costing approximately £35 per week).

If you will be aged 19 or older on 31 August in the year you begin your course and have been resident in the UK/EU/EEA for the past 3 years, your course may be free, depending on your circumstances.
