ABOUT

Imagine crafting images from light and shadow without ever touching a camera. This course invites you into the enchanting world of the darkroom—a space where creativity flows freely, and experimentation becomes art. Through playful and practical techniques, you’ll uncover the beauty of alternative photography and express your vision in unexpected ways.

WHAT WILL I STUDY?

This course introduces learners to traditional and experimental photographic processes using the darkroom. Through cameraless imaging, pinhole photography, and cyanotype printing, you will explore photography as a creative and tactile medium. The course emphasises experimentation, visual curiosity, and personal expression.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

There are no formal entry requirements for this course—just a genuine desire to learn and create. The program focuses on experimentation, visual curiosity, and personal expression, encouraging you to explore and develop your own creative voice.

COURSEWORK REQUIREMENTS

This course is non-assessed and does not lead to a formal qualification. There are no exams or graded assignments. Instead, you’ll be encouraged to participate fully in practical activities, explore creative techniques, and develop your own projects during the sessions. Feedback will be informal and supportive, aimed at helping you grow your skills and confidence.
