Travel and Tourism Courses

Are you passionate about travel, culture, and adventure? Turn your passion into a rewarding career by studying Travel and Tourism!

Our Travel and Tourism courses will help you gain in-depth knowledge of the travel industry and learn about destination management, hospitality, marketing strategies, sustainable tourism practices, and more! You’ll gain industry skills and practices to acquire the expertise to create unforgettable experiences for travellers worldwide.

Studying Travel and Tourism can help to enhance your communication, problem-solving, and customer service skills – vital in a fast-paced industry as well as learning how to plan and organise tours, manage events, and adapt to the ever-changing needs of travellers. You’ll also get to organise your own trips while studying the course which you will then experience as a guest. In the past, our students have visited the World Travel Market, Brighton, Southend, Paradise Wildlife Park, Stubbers Activity Centre, and London Southbank, with some also getting the opportunity to travel abroad.

Whilst studying with us, you will get to immerse yourself in diverse cultures and broaden your horizons as a career in travel and tourism allows you to interact with people from all walks of life, fostering understanding and appreciation for different traditions and customs.

Career paths include customer service, marketing and sales as well as product development or IT and administration for the leisure industry. Whatever career you choose, our colleges are ideally placed, with excellent facilities to develop your skills and give you experience through work placements, trips abroad and events management at venues across the city.

We provide networking opportunities to allow you to connect with industry professionals with many of our alumni now working at companies as diverse as Jet2 Holidays, British Airways, Travelodge, Marriott Hotels, and the Association of British Travel Agents (ABTA).
