
This flexible Skills for Life and Employability programme is designed to meet each learner exactly where they are and move them on to the next realistic step—whether that is greater independence in the community or readiness for a Supported Internship and paid work.
Entry 2–Entry 3 phase: builds everyday living skills, confidence in the community and social communication.
Level 1 phase: shifts the emphasis to work-readiness, enterprise, and preparing for real work experience or a Supported Internship placement.
The course is delivered through RARPA, units, targets and timetables are personalised around EHCP outcomes, preferred learning styles and individual interests
This programme offers a range of core vocational and life-skills units—such as goal setting, teamwork, communication, time management, and safe use of technology—taught at all levels to build independence and employability.
Learners also engage in individualised activities tailored to their interests and EHCP targets, including personal safety, budgeting, and creative or physical projects.
When ready, students can progress to employment-focused units like CV writing, interview practice, work placements, and workplace health and safety, helping them prepare for real-world jobs and responsibilities.

There are no fees for learner aged 16 to 24 who have an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP).

Learners will have increased independence including travelling alone, managing money, and engaging confidently in the community and leave with a personalised portfolio evidencing the skills, attitudes and experiences employers and adult-life settings value most.
