
This Leading the Internal Quality Assurance of Assessment Processes and Practice course is for practitioners with responsibilities for internal quality assurance of a wide range of qualifications including Apprenticeships, Diplomas/NVQ courses.
The Internal Quality Assurance qualification requires completion of the following 3 units:
This unit is for practitioners who lead the internal quality assurance process and have a responsibility for managing the quality of the assessment process and practice and the performance of assessors. They may also develop systems and lead on visits from outside agencies such as awarding organisations.
This competency-based unit requires the practitioner to be assessed using professional discussion, workplace observation and the submission of a portfolio of evidence.
You will need to be working in the post-16 sector assessing knowledge and/or skills in the vocationally related subject and have completed the Level 3 CAVA.
All applicants must have an interview to confirm that the course is suitable for them.
