ABOUT
This Level 2 course builds upon your previous knowledge, equipping you with the core technical knowledge and practical skills needed for further study and employment, teaching you how to install electrical systems and equipment.
Through a mixture of practical work and theory, you will gain a good understanding of electrical science, information technology, health and safety, communications and numeracy. This course is highly regarded by the industry and leads to qualified electrician status.

Installation technology
Electrical safety
Electrical principles
Electrical science
Environmental protection measures
Health and safety
ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
You will need:
GCSE English and Maths at grade 4 or above.
All applicants must have an initial assessment and interview to confirm that the course is suitable for them.
COURSEWORK REQUIREMENTS
You will complete a number of online exams and classroom tests, as well as completing a range of practical assessments in the workshops.
FEES
AGED 16 - 18
If you will be aged 16, 17 or 18 on 31st August 2025 before the start date of the course, and you have the legal right to remain in the UK for the duration of your course then your study with us will be free.

PROGRESSION
On successful completion of the course, you can either progress onto a Level 3 course, or employment, including an apprenticeship.
