This course has been designed to introduce you to professional cooking in partnership with the Craft Guild of Chefs.

The course is assessed throughout with practical assignments and written tests.

If you do not meet the residency rules, you can still enrol on the course, but you may have to pay some fees. All applicants are fee-assessed during enrolment.
If you are not eligible for a free or reduced-cost course, you need to pay the full fee.

You will be expected to purchase the required uniform and equipment for the programme, which reflect both industry norms and safety requirements. These should specifically conform to Capital City College standards and are approximately £350; further information will be provided at enrolment. You can continue working as a cook/chef within the hospitality industry, with the potential to be promoted, and could progress onto a Level 2 course.
