
This course is designed for adults with learning difficulties and additional needs. It will enable you to develop knowledge, skills, and experience to plan, promote and produce products.
You will be part of the planning of an enterprise event to sell the products you produce, within the college. You will be working with others to plan and produce products with the intention of raising money for a charity of the group's (collective) choice.
You will learn basic approaches to art, including different painting methods. You will be introduced to Batik, blending colours and using your creative ideas to produce a product. You will also be involved in the group task of planning to sell the products you make through enterprise activities.
There are no qualifications required but an Initial Assessment will be carried to ensure course appropriateness. Proof of support needs and/or previous support received.
You will be assessed through a variety of methods based on course requirements and individual needs. For example:
Throughout the course, you will be gathering evidence/information in each unit. There are different methods that evidence can be gathered to meet individual needs.
