ABOUT
This Counselling Skills - Level 3 Diploma qualification is suitable for those seeking to enhance their functional role through the use of counselling skills.
You will gain an understanding of a range of counselling skills and have an opportunity to examine some of the various schools of thought/theoretical models associated with them.
Further progression is required by you before you can become a counsellor. This course is part of a study programme for 16-18 year old applicants.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
You will need:
GCSE grade 4 or above in Maths or English.
COURSEWORK REQUIREMENTS
This course is internally assessed via the submission of assignments and coursework.

PROGRESSION

WHAT WILL I STUDY?
To succeed in this course, you are required to complete 5 units:
1) Develop counselling skills
2) Theoretical approaches in the use of counselling skills
3) Work ethically with counselling skills
4) Counselling skills and diversity
5) Counselling skills and personal development
ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
You will need:
Grade 3 GCSE in Maths and English as a minimum entry qualification.
COURSEWORK REQUIREMENTS
This qualification is assessed internally through assignments, with one assignment required for each of the five units.
