The course covers:

  • Garment construction

All of this will prepare you to meet the creative and technical demands of professional film production.

You will need:

  • It is recommended that students have a minimum of 5 × GCSE grade 4 or grade C, including English and Maths
  • One A Level (or equivalent Level 3 qualification), preferably in a relevant creative subject.
  • Mature students who do not have the above will be considered based on a portfolio or industry experience.

You will be invited to attend a personal interview, which will enable the staff to assess your aptitude and potential to benefit from the course.

COURSEWORK REQUIREMENTS

This qualification is assessed through:

  • two internally assessed and verified units (Units 1 & 2)

  • one internally assessed and verified unit (Unit 3)

Units 1 and 2 are graded Pass only. The overall qualification is graded based on Unit 3 and is graded as Pass, Merit or Distinction.
