ABOUT

Designed to be completed in one year, this diploma will provide you with the opportunity to study a range of units from different sectors within the suite, supporting progression to further study. The qualification aims to develop transferable skills, attributes, and behaviours essential for further education and, ultimately, employment.

The course is delivered in an applied manner, integrating relevant content with practical and technical skills. As a Level 1 qualification, achieving a pass requires you to complete routine, simple, and directed tasks by applying your knowledge and skills. You are expected to complete tasks under supervision, direction, or guidance. At merit and distinction levels, you may be required to complete tasks in greater detail or with increased confidence and independence.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

You will need:

  • Entry 3 Level in English and Maths
  • Basic IT skills

COURSEWORK REQUIREMENTS

Assessment is continuous throughout the year and based on assignments and projects.

FEES

AGED 16 - 18

If you will be aged 16, 17 or 18 on 31st August 2025 before the start date of the course, and you have the legal right to remain in the UK for the duration of your course then your study with us will be free.

Adults - ENTRY LEVEL/LEVEL 2

This course may be free if you meet certain conditions:

  • If you are not working or have a low income. You need to show proof of your income or benefits.
  • Residency rules apply. You need to show you have permission to live, work and study in the UK without conditions.
  • There are some exceptions, such as certain visa types.

If you do not meet the residency rules, you can still enrol on the course, but you may have to pay some fees. All applicants are fee-assessed during enrolment.

If you are not eligible for a free or reduced-cost course, you need to pay the full fee.

PROGRESSION

This course will help you to move on to higher-level courses, such as a Level 2 Diploma in Computing/Digital IT or a pre-apprenticeship.
