ABOUT
This entry-level 3 qualification will provide you with the basic skills needed to care for a baby or young child.
You will learn how to present a professional image in an Early Years Placement whilst developing your English by combining your vocational qualification with an ESOL Entry Level 3 qualification.
WHAT WILL I STUDY?
You will study various units, these include:
Healthy eating routines for children
Respecting and valuing children
Play and learning activities to use with children
Taking care of a sick child
Routines for young children
ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
All the resources will be provided by the college. You will need to commit to attending all timetabled lessons for the duration of the course.
COURSEWORK REQUIREMENTS
Assessment is based on the completion of coursework created during the course.

Adults - ENTRY LEVEL/LEVEL 2
This course may be free if you meet certain conditions:
If you are not working or have a low income. You need to show proof of your income or benefits.
Residency rules apply. You need to show you have permission to live, work and study in the UK without conditions.
There are some exceptions, such as certain visa types.

If you do not meet the residency rules, you can still enrol on the course, but you may have to pay some fees. All applicants are fee-assessed during enrolment.

PROGRESSION

COURSEWORK REQUIREMENTS
This qualification is assessed by your tutor or assessor using a range of methods. This can include tasks such as, designing charts or leaflets, worksheets, written work or oral questioning.
