ABOUT

Take your first steps into the exciting world of fashion and textiles with our Level 2 Diploma. This course offers an inspiring blend of creative exploration and hands-on experience. You'll learn key skills such as basic pattern cutting and constructing, fashion design processes, textile techniques, fabric manipulation, editorial photography, Social Media Marketing and content branding, and merchandising.

Immerse yourself in the industry by working in fashion studios, entering competitions, and showcasing your creations in our annual fashion show. Guided projects will help you refine your skills and develop innovative ideas, leading to a specialised final project featured in an exhibition.

Gain insight into the fashion world with visits to iconic destinations like the Victoria and Albert Museum, London Fashion Week, the Tate Modern, and inspirational locations for drawing and photography. You'll also stay ahead of trends by collaborating with industry professionals and learning both traditional and digital techniques.

By the end of the course, you'll have a professional portfolio to kickstart your journey into the vibrant fashion and textiles industry. Let your creativity shine and make your mark on the world of design.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

You will need:

  • Four GCSEs at grade 3 or above, which must include English Language or Maths, or equivalent Functional Skills
  • A portfolio of your art and design work

This course is aimed at 16 - 19 year olds. All applicants must have an interview to confirm that the course is suitable for them.

COURSEWORK REQUIREMENTS

The course is assessed throughout the year and with an end-of-course portfolio.

FEES

AGED 16 - 18

If you will be aged 16, 17 or 18 on 31st August 2025 before the start date of the course, and you have the legal right to remain in the UK for the duration of your course then your study with us will be free.
