This nail technology course covers an introduction to the nail care and enhancement section of the beauty therapy sector, giving you basic skills in areas such as manicures, pedicures, and nail art. Nail technology is a growing area in the UK, with the average British woman spending £450 on their nails each year, and visiting a nail salon at least twice a month.

Four GCSEs at grade 3 or above or a relevant Level 1 qualification
All applicants must have an initial assessment and interview to confirm that the course is suitable for them.
You will be assessed through a portfolio of evidence, collected from written assessments, presentations, witness statements and practice observation.
If you will be aged 16, 17 or 18 on 31st August prior to the start date of your course and you have the legal right to remain in the UK for the duration of your programme then your study with us will be free. Please see here for the documents you will need to show us.

If you will be aged 19+ on 31st August prior to the start date of your course, up to Level 2, then your study with us will be free. You must have lived for 3 years within the EU/EEA/UK prior to the start of your course, you must have lived in the UK before 1st January 2021 and you must have permission to live in the UK for at least 12 months from the first day of learning. To prepare learners for employment as a junior nail technicians, learners may choose to develop their skills further by undertaking qualifications at Level 3, these may include:
