IT - Level 2 Diploma

This course will help you develop specialist skills in a wide variety of IT areas, including the development of websites and mobile apps, and computer hardware and software infrastructure.

You will be studying: H/618/3681 Digital Skills Career Progression T/618/3684 Games Design and Development M/618/3697 Website Design and Development L/618/3674 CybersecurityJ/618/3690 NetworkingH/618/3678 Database Design and DevelopmentK/618/3696 Using Digital TechnologiesT/618/3703 Computer Programming

You will need:

• Four GCSEs at grade 3 or above or a Level 1 Diploma in IT Users

All applicants must have an interview and assessment to confirm that the course is suitable for them.

Assessment is continuous throughout the year and based on assignments and projects.

Entry Level, Level 1, Level 2
If you will be aged 19 or older on 31 August in the year you begin your course, and have been resident in the UK/EU/EEA for the past 3 years, your course may be free, depending on your circumstances. Some courses will have other costs associated, such as for materials and trips. This course will help you to move on to higher level courses, such as a specialist Level 3 Extended Diploma, or an apprenticeship.
