
This course equips you with the skills and experience to progress in engineering, mixing practical work with underpinning theory to develop your understanding of the engineering environment. You will gain a broad level of knowledge of Engineering topics and be able to progress your skills with further study.

All applicants must have an initial assessment and interview to confirm that the course is suitable for them.
You will be assessed through exams, assignments, presentations, witness statements, and practice observation.
If you will be aged 16, 17 or 18 on 31 August in the year you begin your course, and have been resident in the UK/EU/EEA for the past 3 years, it will be free. Some courses will have other costs associated, such as for materials and trips. Entry Level, Level 1, Level 2
If you will be aged 19 or older on 31 August in the year you begin your course, and have been resident in the UK/EU/EEA for the past 3 years, your course may be free, depending on your circumstances. Upon successfully completing this course, you are able to progress to Level 3 Engineering or a Level 2 Apprenticeship.
