ABOUT THE COURSE

This course has been designed to give you intermediate skills in computer aided design (CAD) using AutoCAD, introducing more sophisticated techniques that will expand your mastery of the program.

WHAT WILL I STUDY?

Topics covered can include:

  • 2D Computer aided design
  • 2D Computer aided part programming
  • 2D Manual part programming
  • Reinstating the work area

WHAT WILL I NEED?

You will need:

  • Computer Aided Design - Level 1 Award or equivalent experience in CAD

All applicants must have an initial assessment and interview to confirm that the course is suitable for them.

HOW WILL I BE ASSESSED?

You will be assessed on your completed practical tasks, against industry standards.

WHAT WILL IT COST?

Adults

Entry Level, Level 1, Level 2
If you will be aged 19 or older on 31 August in the year you begin your course, and have been resident in the UK/EU/EEA for the past 3 years, your course may be free, depending on your circumstances. Some courses will have other costs associated, such as for materials and trips.
