
This course will provide you with a range of essential technical and practical skills and knowledge, equipping you for work or further training within the beauty industry.
In addition to beauty-specific skills, you will also develop transferable skills, such as employability skills, teamwork and problem solving techniques, communications and customer care. You will also receive personal tutorials, which will provide opportunities to set meaningful targets for yourself and to carryout self-evaluation and reflection.

All applicants must have an initial assessment and interview to confirm that the course is suitable for them.
You will be assessed through a portfolio of evidence, collected from written assessments, presentations, witness statements and practice observation.
If you will be aged 16, 17 or 18 on 31 August in the year you begin your course, and have been resident in the UK/EU/EEA for the past 3 years, it will be free. Some courses will have other costs associated, such as for materials and trips. Entry Level, Level 1, Level 2
If you will be aged 19 or older on 31 August in the year you begin your course, and have been resident in the UK/EU/EEA for the past 3 years, your course may be free, depending on your circumstances. On successful completion of this course, you could progress to higher level course, such as Level 3, an apprenticeship or other employment.
