ABOUT THE COURSE

An exciting opportunity for students who are interested in exploring the fascinating world of data analysis and probability.

With the increasing importance of statistics in our everyday lives, studying A Level Statistics has never been more relevant or valuable. Our course will equip students with the essential knowledge and skills required to confidently navigate through the ever-evolving field of statistics and to make informed decisions based on data-driven insights.

The Edexcel specification covers a wide range of topics, including probability, statistical distributions, hypothesis testing, correlation, and regression analysis. These topics are all essential components of the modern data analysis toolbox, and our course will teach students how to use them effectively to draw meaningful conclusions from data.

The course includes a mix of classroom-based learning, hands-on exercises, and independent study, all designed to provide students with the skills and knowledge needed to excel in the field of statistics.

This course is available for international students, if you are applying as an international student please click here.

School Leavers

If you will be aged 16, 17 or 18 on 31st August prior to the start date of your course and you have the legal right to remain in the UK for the duration of your programme then your study with us will be free. Please see here for the documents you will need to show us.

Some courses will have other associated costs, such as for specialist materials and trips. Many of our students are eligible for financial support, see here for details.

WHAT CAN I DO AFTER?

This is a new course and is useful if students are thinking of going into data science. It also is extremely beneficial if students are thinking of doing a social science or humanities subject at university such as:

  • Psychology
