Plastering - Introduction (Enfield Construction Skills Academy)

This course provides basic insight into working in the plastering profession and gives you the hand skills necessary to carry out small plastering projects.

Areas covered in the course may include:

• Introduction to basic tools and their uses
• Applying materials to solid backgrounds
• Internal solid plastering to include dot-and-dab methods
• Fix sheet materials
• Applying setting coats
• Repairs to internal solid plastering

Please have your residency documents ready, such as a passport, Evisa/Sharecode, UK Birth Certificate, or Biometric Card. If you have been in the UK for less than 3 years or have entered the UK with a visa, you will need to provide evidence that you are eligible to study in the UK and your EVisa, Biometric card, or any relevant Home Office documents to support your residency covers the duration of your course. For funding purposes, we would need to see evidence of payslips if working (within the last 3 months). If you are receiving benefits, please provide evidence of this (e.g., JSA, ESA, Universal Credit (UC). 

Free unless earning over £28,860pa (then £75)

Upon successful completion of the course you can progress into further study in this area.
