About the Course

This 2-day introductory course is designed for students qualified at Level 2 or above who have an interest in progressing into advanced facial and aesthetic treatments.

This course is ideal for learners exploring future pathways in advanced skincare and aesthetics, providing essential theoretical knowledge before undertaking practical training.

If you wish to carryout a treatment then you will required to purchase a kit at your own cost and provide a model.

What Will I Study?

The course provides a comprehensive overview of dermaplaning, a popular exfoliation treatment used to remove dead skin cells and vellus hair (peach fuzz) to reveal smoother, brighter skin. You will learn the science behind skin exfoliation, treatment benefits, client suitability, contraindications, and how dermaplaning supports product penetration and overall skin rejuvenation.

The programme also covers consultation procedures, treatment planning, health and safety requirements, legal and ethical considerations, and managing client expectations. A live tutor demonstration will allow you to observe correct blade handling, treatment protocol, and professional standards within a clinical setting.
