ABOUT

Vocational Access with Performing Arts is a practical, non-accredited programme designed for learners with SEND who are working at Entry Level 3 and have an EHCP.

This course is delivered under the RARPA framework (Recognising and Recording Progress and Achievement) and combines core personal development and vocational access skills with a strong focus on performing arts as a tool for self-expression, confidence-building, and communication.

The course is ideal for learners who enjoy being creative, want to explore drama, movement, or performance, and benefit from a structured, inclusive, and expressive environment. Learners will work on personal goals, engage in group performance work, and develop transferable skills relevant to life, community, and work.

WHAT WILL I STUDY?

The curriculum is broad and engaging, offering a combination of life skills, employability preparation, and performing arts-based activities. Learners will take part in group projects, creative rehearsals, practical workshops, and confidence-building tasks that help develop communication, social interaction, and independence.
