
Life Skills is a non-accredited programme designed for learners with an EHCP who are working at Entry Level 1-2. Delivered under the RARPA framework (Recognising and Recording Progress and Achievement), the course provides a personalised curriculum focused on preparation for adulthood, independence, and social confidence.
This programme is ideal for learners who require a highly structured, practical, and supportive environment to develop functional life skills, personal confidence, and communication. The course promotes independence, real-life engagement, and learning through doing, with a strong emphasis on routine, consistency, and individual progress based on EHCP outcomes.
Learners will build core life and social skills through engaging, practical units, tailored to their individual needs and learning profiles. Each unit supports personal growth and encourages meaningful participation in both group and individual tasks.
All learning is contextualised to real-life situations, building the foundation for independence, confidence, and daily living.
This programme is designed specifically for learners with an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP) working at Entry Level 1/2. There are no academic entry requirements.
