
This is a one-year intensive course offering secondary school leavers a second chance to improve their GCSE results to gain the entry requirements to progress onto one of our vocational courses or onto an A Level programme at our Sixth Form in Angel.
A Grade 4 or higher in GCSE English, Maths and Science is a requirement for many higher education courses and careers. Lessons will combine theory lectures and practical sessions, many of which will take place in our specialist science laboratories.

Students usually require an internal assessment to determine their suitability for the course.
The Combined Science GCSE is equivalent to two GCSEs, graded using the linear 9-1 system, with examinations in June.
If you will be aged 16, 17 or 18 on 31st August 2025 before the start date of the course, and you have the legal right to remain in the UK for the duration of your course then your study with us will be free.

Students will have the choice to progress into A Levels, T Levels or a vocational subject at Level 3.
