Creative Media Production and Technology: Film and VFX - Level 2 Diploma (UAL)

This course will provide you with an introduction to both the creative and technical aspects of creative media production, allowing you to develop skills, knowledge and understanding to progress to further study and employment within the creative industries.

Our King's Cross centre is fully equipped with the latest state-of-the-art facilities, including high-spec computer suites, sound studios, film and TV editing and recording studios and music rooms, replicating the workplace for your studies.

Topics covered can include:

• Introduction to media industries
• Media audiences
• Research for media production
• Factual programming
• Video production Print or audio production
• Animation and games
• Photography Production

You will need:

• Four GCSEs at grade 3 or above in English Language and Maths, or relevant Level 1 qualification with Functional Skills English and Maths at Level 1

All applicants must have an interview to confirm that the course is suitable for them.

The course is assessed throughout the year and with an end-of-course portfolio.

This course will help you to move on to higher-level courses, such as a Level 3 course or an apprenticeship.
