Beauty Therapy - Level 2 Diploma
The Level 2 Beauty Therapy course is the ideal starting point for those individuals who wish to pursue a career as a Beauty Therapist. Our Level 2 course is designed to equip you with the skills to secure employment as a junior therapist in the industry.
You will study a range of beauty techniques, developing the skills you need to carry out facials, hair removal, manicures and pedicures, eyebrow and eyelash treatments and skin tanning services, as well as following health and safety, promoting products and services and reception duties.
WHAT WILL I STUDY?
Topics covered can include:
- Provide facial skincare
- Remove hair using waxing techniques
- Provide eyelash and brow treatments
- Client care and communication in beauty-related industries
- Provide manicure treatments
- Provide pedicure treatments
- Follow health and safety practices in the salon
- Salon reception duties
- Skin tanning
ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
You will need:
- English at a good level
- An interest in working in the hair and beauty industry
All applicants must have an initial assessment and interview to confirm that the course is suitable for them.
COURSEWORK REQUIREMENTS
You will be assessed on the practical work you do in the beauty salon, as well as through observations, an e-portfolio, online testing, assignments, and oral questioning.
FEES
AGED 16 - 18
If you will be aged 16, 17 or 18 on 31st August 2025 before the start date of the course, and you have the legal right to remain in the UK for the duration of your course then your study with us will be free.
