

AAT Level 4 Diploma in Professional Accounting equips you with expert skills and knowledge, preparing you to become a fully qualified accounting technician. The course is run as a day release programme over 18-24 months. The topics covered in this course will give students the opportunity to learn how to complete professional accounting tasks, including drafting financial statements, managing budgets, and evaluating financial performance.

If you do not meet the residency rules, you can still enrol on the course but you may have to pay some fees. All applicants are fee-assessed during enrolment.
If you are not eligible for a free or reduced-cost course, you need to pay the full fee yourself, or apply for an Advanced Learner Loan.

One-off AAT registration fee of £240.00 plus the cost of textbooks per unit. The cost of textbooks will depend on the individual publishers. The one-off registration fee provides access to the qualification for its lifetime, typically four to five years.
Upon completion, you can work in accounting roles, or work towards chartered accountancy status with one of the professional bodies such as ACCA, CIMA or ICAEW. You can also choose to progress to University to further your studies in Accounting.
