This course offers the City and Guilds 6035 qualification and will allow you to build on your knowledge of plumbing and domestic heating, giving you more advanced practical skills and knowledge required by someone aspiring to be a plumber.

All applicants must have an assessment and interview to confirm that the course is suitable for them.
You will also need stationary, overalls and safety boots.
You will be assessed on your completed practical tasks, against industry standards. Written assessment will include multiple choice questions, paper-based exams and written assignments.
If you will be aged 16, 17 or 18 on 31st August prior to the start date of your course and you have the legal right to remain in the UK for the duration of your programme then your study with us will be free. Please see here for the documents you will need to show us.

If you will be aged 19+ on 31st August prior to the start date of your course, up to Level 2, then your study with us will be free. You must have lived for 3 years within the EU/EEA/UK prior to the start of your course, you must have lived in the UK before 1st January 2021 and you must have permission to live in the UK for at least 12 months from the first day of learning. This qualification can lead to you gaining employment in the plumbing industry and gaining further qualifications at Level 3. A highly experienced Plumber can earn over £50,000 a year.
Opportunities also exist of learners moving into the new developing area of sustainability with courses on Heat Pumps etc.
