
This course will give you an understanding of the essential skills required to work successfully in a business environment, and an understanding of business culture and responsibilities. You will develop the skills required to solve problems, communicate and work effectively with others, and be given the opportunity to learn how to manage and improve your own performance in a business environment.

All applicants must have an interview and assessment to confirm that the course is suitable for them.
Assessment is through coursework, along with periodic tests. Coursework includes research projects, written assignments, presentations, and practical activities.
If you will be aged 16, 17 or 18 on 31 August in the year you begin your course, and have been resident in the UK/EU/EEA for the past 3 years, it will be free. Some courses will have other costs associated, such as for materials and trips. Entry Level, Level 1, Level 2
If you will be aged 19 or older on 31 August in the year you begin your course, and have been resident in the UK/EU/EEA for the past 3 years, your course may be free, depending on your circumstances. On successful completion of this course, you could progress to a Level 3 course, an apprenticeship or other employment.
