
This qualification is designed to give you the skills to operate confidently, effectively and independently in using computers in everyday life.
This qualification will provide the essential awareness, understanding and practical ability relating to the digital skills. The course is suitable for participants with very basic ICT skills, that would like to improve their digital skills, particularly automated processes. The course will help you to emphasises the development of practical skills and improve own efficiency in using IT applications and processes by using various software applications. You will create, edit, format text and documents using a wide range of automated tools and applications such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Desktop Publishing, email, and Internet.
All applicants must have an initial assessment and interview to confirm that the course is suitable for them.

If you will be aged 19 or older on 31 August in the year you begin your course, and have been resident in the UK/EU/EEA for the past 3 years, your course may be free, depending on your circumstances. Some courses will have other costs associated, such as for materials and trips.
