Esports Academy

Join the CONEL Cyphers, our official Esports team!

Established in 2020, CONEL are the current reigning Valorant National Champions. Compete and train with other students against colleges from around the country. If you’re not a competitive person, feel free to join up to meet like-minded people and make new friends!

What is the Esports Academy?

Our Esports training centre is equipped with twenty high-end gaming PCs, 144hz monitors and professional gaming peripherals. Joining the academy will provide you with training, coaching and guidance. We offer a place for learners to share ideas and explore their passions with the support of a professional esports coach.

When do the Academy activities take place?

Every Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday from 4pm until 6pm.

Where is the Academy located?

You can find the Academy in the heart of our Enfield Campus.

Does the Academy take part in competitions?

On most Wednesdays we compete in the British Esports Student Championships, facing off against other colleges and schools in a nationwide tournament. Currently, CONEL Cyphers compete in ‘League of Legends’, ‘Valorant’ and ‘Rocket League’.

How to get involved?

Join our discord server (discord.gg/conelcyphers), email esports@conel.ac.uk or come along to one of our sessions.

You must be signed up for a course at The College of Haringey, Enfield and North East London (CONEL) or a Capital City College Group (CCCG) college to participate.
