Over 4 weeks, you will learn to harness the power of low-code platforms such as WordPress and Wix to create visually captivating websites, craft compelling content that drives engagement, and integrate essential marketing tools—all while mastering SEO and analytics to measure your success. Whether you're launching a product, building your brand, or looking to advance in your career, this course is relevant.

By the end of this course, you’ll have the confidence and skills to independently design and manage professional-grade websites that elevate your marketing efforts. This is also a stepping stone to building a career as a web designer.

This course will cover:

• Overview of WordPress and Wix as a CMS (Content Management System)
• Benefits of using low-code tools for marketing purposes
• Choosing a domain and hosting provider
• Installing WordPress and setting up the basic configuration
• Selecting and installing a marketing-friendly WordPress theme
• Drag-and-drop website design without coding
• Introduction to WordPress SEO plugins (e.g., Yoast SEO, Rank Math)
• Optimising content, meta tags, and URLs for search engines
• Analysing and improving site speed for better SEO

You will need to be eligible to study in the UK. Upon enrolment, you will be asked to upload residency and income documents for college funding purposes.

This course is for 19+ adults who live in the GLA only.
