Using Technology in Education - Introduction

Have you ever wanted to find out more about using technology to support teaching and learning?

This short course will introduce you to aspects of Educational Technology used to design and develop learning materials to improve teaching and learning.

You will complete a learning programme of 24 hours. You will:

• Gain an overview of the range of Educational Technology used to develop learning materials to improve teaching and learning
• Learn how to make lessons more interactive through the use of educational games and quizzes
• Gain experience in converting existing paper-based handouts into interactive documents

The candidates must be competent users of the English Language, have an interest in the field of education and have access to a computer for online learning.

In addition to the generic entry requirements which you have for non-accredited courses, the candidates must be competent users of the English Language, have an interest in the field of education and have access to a computer for online learning.

This course may be free if you meet certain conditions by earning less than £28,860pa, if not it costs £72

Upon successful course attendance and completion, you will have the opportunity to discuss progression to our teacher training courses related to either generic teaching in FE or teaching subject specialisms in English or Maths.
