Spreadsheet Design - Advanced

The Advanced Spreadsheet course is designed to equip learners with expert-level Excel skills for handling complex data analysis, automation, and decision-making tasks.  

This course builds on intermediate Excel knowledge, introducing advanced techniques for managing and manipulating large datasets efficiently.

Participants will explore sophisticated formulas, functions and advanced IF conditions. The course will cover

• Data validation
• Dynamic named ranges
• Conditional formatting
• Automation using macros.

 Additionally, learners will gain hands-on experience in advanced charting techniques and confidence using Excel's most powerful features, allowing them to work with large-scale data, streamline workflows, and generate meaningful insights for data.

Entry Requirements

Please be prepared to provide the following documents to complete your enrolment:

Proof of Residency

• passport,
• Evisa/share code,
• Full UK Birth certificate
• ARC (Asylum)

If you have lived in the UK for less than three years or entered the UK on a visa, you will need to provide evidence confirming your eligibility to study. This should include your Evisa together with any relevant Home Office documentation showing that your immigration status is valid for the full duration of your course.

Proof of Income

• If you are employed, this should include payslips (less than 3 months)
• If you are Self-employed you will need to show income for the last 3 months
• If you receive benefits, you will need to provide supporting evidence (e.g., Jobseeker’s Allowance, Employment and Support Allowance, or Universal Credit (less than 3 months). 

Free unless earning over £28,860pa (Then £144)

Upon successful completion of the course you can progress into further study in this area.
