
This Excel course is designed to build your confidence and proficiency in using Excel spreadsheets for a variety of tasks.
You’ll start by learning how to effectively enter and update information in your spreadsheets. The course will guide you through formatting numbers and text to make your data clearer and more visually appealing. You’ll also gain hands-on experience with essential Excel formulas such as SUM, MIN, MAX, and AVERAGE, which will help you perform basic calculations and analyse data.
Additionally, you’ll discover how to create charts to visually represent your data, making it easier to understand and share insights. By the end of the course, you'll be equipped with the foundational skills needed to manage and analyse information confidently using Excel.
Please be prepared to provide your residency documents such as a passport, Evisa / Sharecode , UK Birth Certificate or Biometric Card. If you have been in the UK for less than 3 years or have entered the UK with a visa you will need to provide evidence that you are eligible to study in the UK and your EVisa or Biometric card or any relevant home office documents to support your residency covers the duration of your course . For funding purposes we would need to see evidence of payslips if working (within the last 3 months). If you are receiving benefits please provide evidence if this also (e.g JSA, ESA, Universal Credit (UC).
Free unless earning over £27,007.50pa or not yet achieved a Level 2 in ICT ( Then £144)
On completion of this course, you will have improved your skills in Excel that you can use in the workplace or everyday life. You can also progress onto further study in this field.
