About the Course

In this course, you will learn the basics of Sage Accounting.

You will set up a company and, over a period, will carry out the most common transactions. Topics covered: managing daily finances, etc.

What Will I Study?

No knowlegde is requried in book keeping or Using Sage.

You will set up a company and over a period will carry out the most common transactions.

Topics covered include:

  • Managing daily finances
  • Producing financial reports
  • Processing sales and purchase orders 
  • Bank account reconciliation
  • Stock and vat returns

What Will I Need?

Please be prepared to provide your residency documents, such as a passport, an e-visa /Share code, a UK Birth Certificate, or a Biometric Card. If you have been in the UK for less than 3 years or have entered the UK with a visa, you will need to provide evidence that you are eligible to study in the UK and your e-visa, Biometric card, or any relevant Home Office documents to support your residency covers the duration of your course. For funding purposes, we would need to see evidence of payslips (within the last 3 months) if working. If you are receiving benefits, please provide evidence of this (e.g., JSA, ESA, Universal Credit (UC).

Cost

Free unless earning over £28,860.00pa or not yet achieved a Level 2 in ICT (then £50).
