You will learn safeguarding and dignity in adult health and social care.

  • Principles of dignity in adult health and social care practice 
  • Duty of care in adult health and social care
  • Dilemmas and public concerns in adult health and social care

What Will I Need?

You will need to be:

  • Unemployed or on a low wage.
  • Living in the UK for the last three years. If from the EU you must have been living in the UK since 1 January 2021*.

*Proof of residency (ie passport/Settled Status/Pre-Settled Status etc). Proof of address and latest statement of state benefits will be required at enrolment, (eg Universal Credit, Job Seeker’s Allowance or Income Support)

Assessment

You will be assessed by the completion of short workbooks/questions at the end of each unit.

Cost

Free unless earning over £27,007.50 per annum (then £362).

What Can I Do After?

After completion of this course you can progress onto further education or employment.
