
This Level 1 in Remote Working course is designed for people who wish to be (or who already are) self-employed. The course is delivered by Visionnaire Entrepreneurial Coaches who have their own businesses.

Upon achievement and registration, you will currently also have a 1-year free membership to IOEE (Institute for Entrepreneurs and Enterprise), expert advice from business professionals, and other free training courses to support business start-up.
This course will develop the initial entrepreneurial skills you need to understand the basics of being self-employed, whether as a sole trader, with a side hustle, or by setting up your own business. This course will help you to understand what is involved and if it's right for you.
Turn your skills and hobbies into paid work, manage your own time and decide on hours that are convenient for you, whilst earning an income or additional income as a side hustle.
During this course, you will:
Adult Skills Fund eligibility. Please be prepared to provide your residency documents, such as a passport, EU citizen ID card, UK Birth Certificate or Biometric Card. If you have been in the UK for less than 3 years or have entered the UK with a visa, you will need to provide evidence that you are eligible to study in the UK - your visa, your biometric card that covers the duration of your course or any relevant Home Office documents to support your residency should all be provided. If you’re an EU, EEA or Swiss citizen, we will need to see evidence of 'Pre-Settled' or 'Settled status' documents. For funding purposes, please provide payslips if you're employed (from the last 3 months). If you are receiving benefits (e.g., JSA, ESA, Universal Credit (UC), Housing Benefit, etc.), please provide evidence of this.
You will be assessed by your work books.
